Subscription, Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Free and Pro, additional user slots, optional trials, monthly renewal, cancellation, grace periods, and refunds.
This policy is part of the Opright Terms of Service and applies to subscriptions purchased from Opright. Customer invoice payments to a field-service business are covered separately by that business’s terms and the Payments Terms.
1. Free and Pro
New workspaces start on Free, which includes one user and unlimited customers. Pro is $29 per month for advanced features and eight user slots, including the owner. Each additional slot is $5 per month. Eligible owners may start an optional 14-day Pro trial with eight users and no payment card from More → Plan & billing. A trial creates no paid subscription. At its end, the workspace returns to Free unless an authorized owner purchases Pro. Existing complimentary access is preserved.
2. Paid plans and authorization
Paid plan actions remain disabled until Opright’s Stripe subscription billing is ready. Only a workspace owner who is at least 18 and authorized for the business may purchase or change a paid plan. Before an available checkout, Opright displays the plan, user allowance, monthly recurring total, proration terms, automatic-renewal terms, cancellation method, and this policy. Stripe securely collects and processes the payment method.
3. Monthly renewal and user slots
Pro renews monthly until canceled. New subscriptions do not offer annual billing. Active team members and pending invitations use user slots. Purchased slots remain billed until the owner reduces the allowance, even if unused. Inviting a member does not automatically increase the allowance or charge. The owner must confirm a new recurring total before buying additional slots. Added slots are prorated for the remaining paid period and become available after successful payment. Reducing unused slots removes their availability immediately and lowers the next renewal without a mid-cycle refund. Archive unused members before reducing the allowance; archiving alone does not change the subscription quantity. The final Stripe checkout or invoice shows applicable tax and the amount payable.
4. Cancellation and plan changes
An owner may cancel through More → Plan & billing → Manage subscription & billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless law requires a different result. Access to paid features continues through that date. At period end, Free retains one user. Extra members are paused, with the owner retained first; records and history are preserved. Advanced features become unavailable while saved premium data remains retained for a later upgrade.
5. Refunds
Payments are nonrefundable and Opright does not provide prorated refunds or credits for unused time, plan downgrades, or partial periods, except when required by law or when Opright chooses to correct its own duplicate or erroneous charge. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge. This rule does not govern refunds a connected field-service business owes its customers.
6. Failed payments and grace period
If a renewal fails, Opright provides a seven-day grace period while payment is retried or updated. After the grace period, the workspace may become read-only or fall back to available free features. Data is not immediately deleted. Update billing or contact support to restore eligible access.
7. Prices and taxes
Opright charges in U.S. dollars. Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout after the relevant registration and tax setup are confirmed. If Opright becomes required to collect a tax or changes a paid price, the amount will be disclosed before the charge and reasonable advance notice will be provided for renewal-price increases.
8. Billing questions
Review receipts and payment methods through the Stripe billing portal. Report a suspected billing error promptly to support@mail.oprightapp.com. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights.
